The latest Nevada high school football rankings are here, and another busy week has reshaped the conversation across the Silver State.

Bishop Gorman remained at the top after a bye week and now turns its attention toward one of the biggest matchups on its schedule. Liberty and Arbor View picked up their first victories of the season, while Bishop Manogue also broke into the win column and moved back into the Top 10.

With teams continuing their push toward the postseason and a state championship, every week is starting to matter a little more. Below are the Top 25 Nevada high school football teams, based on the Massey Ratings, as of September 14, 2026.

Nevada High School Football Rankings: Top 10

1. Bishop Gorman (3-1)

Bishop Gorman had the weekend off, but the Gaels won’t have much time to ease back into action.

The nation’s powerhouse program is preparing to travel to Southern California for a Friday matchup against Santa Ana Mater Dei. The game brings together two of the country’s premier high school football programs and should be one of the marquee matchups of the weekend.

2. Liberty (2-2)

Liberty finally got into the win column in a big way, rolling to a 42-0 victory over Desert Oasis.

Junior quarterback Madden Dela Cruz completed 12 of 14 passes for 230 yards and two touchdowns. The Patriots also got major contributions from their defense, including pick-sixes by edge defender Aidan Webster and cornerback Rysen-James Dacosin-Arcala.

Liberty will now host No. 4 Foothill in one of the week’s biggest Nevada matchups.

3. Arbor View (1-3)

Arbor View earned its first victory of the season with a 55-34 shootout win over Centennial.

The Aggies had faced one of the tougher non-league schedules in the West and had scored only 33 total points through their first three games. That changed against Centennial.

Oregon State commit Thaddeus Thatcher threw for 186 yards and three touchdowns while adding 51 rushing yards and three more scores on the ground. Texas A&M commit Damani Warren and UCLA commit Zac Fares also caught touchdown passes.

Arbor View returns home Friday to face Lincoln of San Diego.

4. Foothill (3-1)

Foothill came away with a 35-28 win over Las Vegas in a tightly contested game.

Junior quarterback Ryder Dobbs completed 16 of 25 passes for 284 yards and three touchdowns. He also rushed for 98 yards and another score.

Wide receiver Anthony Taylor added four catches for a game-high 97 yards and a touchdown. Next up is a major showdown against No. 2 Liberty.

5. Churchill County (5-0)

Churchill County continued its unbeaten start with a dominant 58-0 victory over Sparks.

The Greenwave took control immediately, building a 30-0 lead after the first quarter and extending the advantage to 44-0 by halftime.

Churchill County will look to keep its perfect record intact Friday when it travels to Spring Creek.

6. Faith Lutheran (2-3)

Faith Lutheran came up short in a high-scoring 54-36 loss to Morgan of Utah, but the Crusaders still received a massive offensive performance from quarterback Dominick Folino.

Folino completed 25 of 38 passes for 405 yards and four touchdowns. His twin brother, Gavin Folino, was his top target, catching 10 passes for 201 yards and three touchdowns.

Gavin Folino has already surpassed his production from last season and has 29 catches for 528 yards and six touchdowns this year.

The Crusaders will host Sports Leadership & Management on Friday.

7. Coronado (3-1)

Coming off a bye week, Coronado looked ready to play in a convincing 46-10 victory over Desert Springs.

Sophomore quarterback Governor Richburg completed 12 of 17 passes for 269 yards and five touchdowns. Junior receiver Tristan Grau caught four passes for 120 yards and a touchdown.

Running back Matthias Rantissi added 132 rushing yards and a score as Coronado continued its strong start.

The Cougars will travel to Desert Oasis on Friday.

8. Sloan Canyon (3-0)

Sloan Canyon is coming off a bye week and remains unbeaten entering its next game.

The Pirates will return to action Friday when they host Mater Academy.

9. Palo Verde (4-0)

Palo Verde stayed unbeaten with a 38-18 win over Durango.

The Panthers are now 4-0, marking the program’s best start in 15 years.

10. Bishop Manogue (1-4)

Bishop Manogue earned its first victory of the season with a 31-23 win over Reed.

The Miners have faced a demanding schedule, with three losses coming against strong Northern California opponents and another against Top 5-ranked Churchill County.

Bishop Manogue did most of its damage on the ground against Reed, rushing for 215 yards. Four different running backs received at least five carries, while sophomore Joc Bailey led the way with 79 yards and two touchdowns.

The biggest spotlight will be on Bishop Gorman as the Gaels prepare for their highly anticipated matchup against Mater Dei. It’s the kind of game that draws attention far beyond Nevada and gives Gorman another opportunity to measure itself against elite national competition.

Closer to home, Liberty and Foothill will meet in a matchup between two teams ranked inside the state’s Top 5. Both programs have plenty to play for as the season begins moving deeper into the fall.

Arbor View will also try to build on the momentum from its first win, while Churchill County looks to extend its unbeaten start.
